THE POUR HOUSE

Welcome to The Pour House, located in the heart of Ringwood!  We are thrilled to be able to welcome you to our club, held at The Pour House, where women from all walks of life come together to connect, inspire, and have a great time. Whether you prefer an evening club or a lunch club, we have you covered with our monthly meetings.

Formerly known as Ringwood Social Club, the club closed in 2011, but after an extensive refurbishment it opened its doors in July 2023, and this beautiful 300 year old building now offers us a warm, inviting, safe place to meet. It is the ideal space where women can relax, unwind, and enjoy each other's company. With ample parking available at the back (accessed via Strides Lane) and on the streets, you can easily join us without any hassle.

Through the coming year we have a range of exciting events and inspiring speakers lined up for you. From engaging workshops to thought-provoking talks, we strive to offer a diverse range of activities that cater to all interests. There will also be special events where clubs from across the UK will come together, so watch this space.

Pre-booking is essential. We understand that everyone has different dietary requirements, and we are more than happy to accommodate them. Please indicate any special requirements/allergies at the payment screen and we will ensure that your needs are met.

Life as a New Forest Commoner
This evening I’m delighted to be welcoming along Sally Marsh who is an author and also owner of a herd of New Forest ponies.
Sally lives in the New Forest with her husband Chris and pony mad daughter Gemma. As a practicing New Forest Commoner, Sally can regularly be seen out and about looking for her free roaming ponies usually with camera in hand.
When she is not in the New Forest, Sally will be writing! Most of her books especially her Young adult and children's picture books are animal based and usually sprinkled with a touch of adventure. Sally also writes adult fiction and poetry both humorous and heartfelt and they cover a wide range of subjects from dating to the menopause!
As you can see, Sally is a very busy lady so I am really pleased she is kindly giving us her time to talk to us about her ponies, what life as a New Forest Commoner entails and how she manages time to also write. If you would like to take a look at Sally’s work head over to her website www.booksbysally.co.uk
Pre-booking is essential 48 hours in advance. We understand that everyone has different dietary requirements, and we are more than happy to accommodate them. Please indicate any special requirements/allergies at the payment screen and we will ensure that your needs are met.
